The Aura 308X is a powerful, passive coaxial system with a very high output, and an ultrawide 100° x 100° coverage. The Aura 308X is designed for small to medium venues looking for greater sonic detail.
The Aura 308X comes with an 8” Low frequency driver, complimented by a 0.8” HF over an Omniwave guide. The Omniwave allows the speaker a symmetrical 100° coverage across the horizontal & vertical axis. The Omniwave configuration also allows for the exacting placement of the HF for a linear & coherent output. The high frequency driver contains a 0.8” HF diaphragm producing an exceptional transient response with great efficiency.
The recommended amplification for the Aura 308X is the XD 41 or 2 XS amplifiers which can deliver more than the required power to have a 3 dB gain (minimum) headroom. The Delta Drive DSP systems – Delta 48 & Delta 36 house the presets for the Aura 308X. These DSP systems provide the subwoofer better tonal correction and added safety with limiters against unwanted peaks & distortion
The wedge shape on the speaker, makes it extremely versatile for use on tours or in installations as FOH, Fills, Under Balcony Speakers or Stage / DJ Monitors. The Aura 308X can also be flown below the Aura 315X or the Aura 312X for a down fill configuration

Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
