The British Acoustics Delta K18 FS is a self-powered 18" flying subwoofer designed for powerful, controlled low-frequency reinforcement in professional audio systems. Featuring an 18" neodymium woofer in a front-loaded enclosure, it pairs seamlessly with the Delta K40 Line Array or ground-stacks via a 20mm pole socket. Powered by a 3000W Class-D amp with a range down to 31 Hz, it includes a 4" Duo Copper Voice Coil and Malt Cross Cooling for reliability. With the Delta Audio Controller, cardioid presets, weather-resistant design, and Fortex™ cones, the K18 FS is a robust, versatile subwoofer finished in signature brown.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
