With a frequency response of 20Hz–20kHz, less than 0.03% THD, and a damping factor exceeding 1000, the 2 XXL provides precise speaker control and maintains exceptional accuracy even at extreme SPL levels. Equipped with Gorilla Limiters and X Series preamps, it ensures smooth, distortion-free performance under heavy loads. Advanced thermal protection, signal limiting, and inrush current control enhance reliability in rugged environments. Connectivity includes XLR inputs, Speak-on, binding post connectors, plus dual link and power outputs. The front panel offers intuitive controls with sensitivity toggles, input selection switches, ground lift, and rotary knobs for precise channel management. Housed in a black aluminum chassis with a matte star white faceplate, the 2 XXL fits seamlessly into 3U rack spaces, delivering powerful, reliable audio performance in a durable, installation-friendly format.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
