The British Acoustics OctaLine 28 S is a dual 18" powered subwoofer built for powerful low-frequency output in large-scale events and professional sound systems. With a peak SPL of 140 dB and response down to 31 Hz, it delivers deep, distortion-free bass via dual ultra-low excursion drivers and a 6000W Class-H amplifier. Cardioid and omni presets ensure flexible low-end control. Housed in marine-grade birch plywood with polyurea paint, it’s ready for rugged use. Integrated handles, stacking feet, PowerCon connectors, 24-bit DSP, and a signature umber brown finish make it a reliable and refined choice for demanding audio environments.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
