The British Acoustics OctaLine 18 FS is an 18" self-powered flying subwoofer delivering deep, accurate bass for professional sound systems. Featuring omni-directional sound with optional cardioid presets, it suits large venues, live events, and touring. With an 800W AES transducer, 3000W Class-H amplifier, and 24-bit DSP, it offers powerful low-end performance, efficiency, and system protection. Built with marine-grade birch plywood and scratch-resistant polyurea finish, it ensures durability. The 2-point rigging system with quick-lock pins, integrated handles, and stacking feet allow easy setup. Finished in matte black with umber brown accents, the OctaLine 18 FS combines precision, reliability, and sleek design.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
