The British Acoustics VF-188 CS is a high-performance rimless ceiling subwoofer delivering 200W AES and 800W peak power for dynamic low-frequency reinforcement. Featuring an 8" driver with a 2" voice coil and slot porting to minimize turbulence, it provides powerful bass and cardioid presets for enhanced directivity. Built with impact-resistant ABS housing and UV stabilizers in white or black, its fully sealed enclosure ensures optimal bass response. Quick-fit recess locking enables secure, easy installation. Supporting 100V/70V transformer taps and Terra Lock-compatible mounts, the VF-188 CS suits flush or pendant-style architectural audio setups.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
