The British Acoustics VF-184 XTC is a compact ceiling speaker designed for seamless integration into architectural audio systems. It features a 4" Vero driver and 0.7" HF transducer, delivering 60W AES and 240W peak output with 130° conical dispersion for wide, even coverage. Housed in impact-resistant ABS with a silver or white friction-painted finish, it offers durability and style. A quick-fit recess locking system simplifies installation, while the sealed enclosure enhances bass response. Supporting 100V/70V transformer taps and optional pendant mounting accessories, the VF-184 XTC is a flexible, high-performance solution for flush or pendant-mounted audio applications.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
