The British Acoustics ONYX 15A is a 15-inch powered studio and stage monitor designed for professional sound reinforcement applications. It combines a 15-inch low-frequency driver rated at 300 W AES / 1200 W peak with a 1-inch exit HF compression driver rated at 40 W AES / 160 W peak. A 1200 W two-channel Class-AB amplifier, M1 Power Factor Crossover Module, PW Processor and three-stage protection system provide efficient amplification and consistent system performance. The ONYX 15A delivers a frequency response of 59 Hz–18 kHz, a frequency range of 47 Hz–20 kHz, maximum output of 122 dB / 128 dB peak, and controlled 90° horizontal × 50° vertical dispersion.

Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
