The PW655 from British Acoustics' 6 Series is a 15" 3-way point source speaker designed for high-quality sound reproduction. With a frequency response of 53 Hz to 20 kHz (-3 dB) and a frequency range of 50 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB), it delivers clear and balanced audio across the spectrum. Rated for 800W continuous power (3200W peak) at 8 ohms impedance, it achieves a maximum SPL of 133 dB. The speaker features a 15" LF driver with a 4" voice coil for powerful bass reproduction, along with a 6" MF driver and a 1" VC ferrite HF driver for mid and high frequencies, respectively. A crossover frequency of 1.9 kHz ensures smooth transitions between drivers. Housed in a Steadygrid plywood enclosure with a powder-coated durable grill, the PW655 includes integrated handles, M-10 insertion points, and a pole mounting socket for convenient installation and transportation. It measures 29" in height, 17" in width, 17" in depth, and weighs 49 kg.

Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
