Introducing the Delta K12 DS from British Acoustics, a powerhouse subwoofer and control module engineered for uncompromising audio performance. With a frequency response spanning from 46 Hz to 110 Hz (-3 dB) and a maximum SPL of 130 dB, this self-powered unit delivers deep, resonant bass with clarity and precision. Its 1000W Class-D amplifier for the subwoofer and 800W amplifier output for satellite speakers ensure robust, balanced sound reinforcement. Configurable via Delta Audio Controller Software, its DSP offers versatile control over audio parameters. The subwoofer features a 12" speaker with a rubber surround and 3" voice coil, driven by a neodymium magnet for optimal performance.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
