The Aura 318 XS is a high-efficiency band pass subwoofer and is the ideal low frequency extension for the Aura Series mid-high loudspeakers for installations & distributed pro audio systems. The subwoofer has a dual ported bandpass cabinet design that allows for maximum sub output & deep lows.
The Aura 318 XS is equipped with a very high excursion 18” ferrite low distortion woofer that generates greater magnetic flux for better efficiency The guided and swiftly changing airflow through the engineered ports achieves a higher acoustic output with lesser cone movements adding to the safety and durability of the driver.
The recommended amplification for the Aura 318 XS is the XD 22 or 2 XL amplifiers which can deliver more than the required power to have a 3 dB gain (minimum) headroom. The Delta Drive DSP systems – Delta 48 & Delta 36 house the presets for the Aura 318 XS. These DSP systems provide the subwoofer better tonal correction and added safety with limiters against unwanted peaks & distortion.
The Aura 318 XS is truly a versatile subwoofer that can be used in a variety of touring & installation applications. The subwoofers can comfortably compliment energy bars, gymnasiums, ball rooms while being easy to set-up on tours.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
