The Onyx 238 TW is an advanced all-weather surface mount speaker designed to provide balanced, full-range audio in both indoor and outdoor installations. Equipped with an 8” axial mid-high driver and a 1” silk dome HF compression driver, it delivers clean highs and articulate midrange reproduction, making it ideal for public address, background music, and foreground audio reinforcement in hospitality venues, educational campuses, or corporate environments. With a nominal impedance of 8Ω and selectable 100V/70V transformer taps, the speaker offers excellent system integration flexibility for both low-impedance and distributed audio setups.

Built with an impact-resistant ABS housing, IP54-rated weather protection, and a non-reflective matte white finish, the Onyx 238 TW ensures durability and aesthetic discretion in architecturally sensitive environments. Its Euroblock terminal simplifies wiring, while installation is made seamless with the included VS Throne or Yoke VS 6 brackets. The speaker maintains high output clarity with a 121dB peak SPL and optimized horizontal and vertical dispersion patterns, ensuring wide-area coverage with minimal distortion. It is perfect for use in patios, atriums, corridors, and other high-traffic zones.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Painstakingly Perfect Production

Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
