The Onyx 236 TW is engineered to deliver clear, wide-range audio in architectural spaces where aesthetics, durability, and intelligibility are essential. Featuring a 6.5” axial-motor LF driver paired with a 0.75” silk dome HF tweeter, this speaker system provides natural vocal clarity and smooth musicality across the 80 Hz – 20 kHz frequency range. With a peak SPL of 119 dB, it is powerful enough for speech reinforcement and background music applications in both indoor and outdoor distributed setups.

The Onyx 236 TW offers flexible integration with a rotary transformer tap selector, Euroblock terminal, and an impedance switch for 8Ω or 100V/70V operation. Its IP54-rated, ABS UV-stabilized housing, matte white powder-coated finish, and non-reflective grille provide both protection and a clean aesthetic, making it perfect for retail, hospitality, educational, or public venues. Designed for flush or surface mount with VS Throne or Yoke 6 brackets, the Onyx 236 TW is a reliable, high-fidelity loudspeaker that consistently performs in demanding environments.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Painstakingly Perfect Production

Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
