The Onyx 234 TW is a compact 4.5” full-range surface mount loudspeaker designed for architectural installations that require clarity, coverage, and weather resistance. It features an axial-motor LF transducer and a 0.75” silk dome HF tweeter, delivering clear voice reproduction and warm tonal quality across the 85 Hz – 20 kHz range. This makes it ideal for paging, background music (BGM), and light foreground music. With a peak SPL of 110 dB, the speaker ensures excellent intelligibility in distributed setups without occupying visual space.

The Onyx 234 TW is equipped with a Euroblock terminal, rotary transformer selector, and an 8Ω/100V/70V impedance toggle for seamless integration into low-impedance or high-voltage systems. The IP54-rated housing, impact-resistant ABS enclosure, and non-reflective matte white finish provide lasting durability, making it perfect for moisture-prone or high-traffic areas. Flared LF ports enhance low-frequency support, while the slim-profile design and VS Throne or Yoke 6 mounting options ensure quick installation in a variety of settings such as corridors, hospitality venues, houses of worship, and retail zones.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Painstakingly Perfect Production

Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
