The British Acoustics Aura Sub 315S is a compact 15" installation subwoofer engineered for deep, powerful bass in professional sound systems. With a peak SPL of 135 dB and response down to 36 Hz, it delivers robust low-end reinforcement with clarity. An aluminium demodulating ring and optimised airflow ensure minimal distortion and compression at high output. Housed in marine birchply with polyurea paint and steel grills, it’s built for durability. Integrated handles, M10 flying inserts, and stacking feet allow flexible deployment. Finished in signature umber brown with RAL options, the Aura Sub 315S combines performance, reliability, and installation-ready design.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
