All work & no play makes Toby a dull man! The British Acoustics Octa Bar is the way for British Acoustics professional products to be enjoyed by industry professionals in their more intimate places. British Acoustics has combined and miniaturised the engineering for a 3-way full range PA system into a neat & compact bar. Made out of Finnish Birchwood, with a lacquered brown finish and draped with acoustically transparent fabric, the Octa Bar is as aesthetically pleasing as is sonically powerful.
The Octa Bar features 2 Stereo Pairs of 4.75” Mid Frequency Transducers with a stereo pair of a 1.75” Super tweeters. The low frequencies are generated by 3 stereo pairs of conical low-profile woofers that provide enhanced clarity while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing cabinet size.
The Octa Bar is designed to immerse yourself within the video. Its Delta Home DSP is engineered to fill the space to imitate the feeling of immersive sound from a stereo set-up. It takes the British Acoustics’ renowned sonic signature from professional applications and puts in into a neat box an engineer can enjoy, within his bedroom

Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
