The Alpha 428 LA is engineered keeping fixed installations in mind. It delivers generates an astounding sonic footprint, fulfilling the specific needs of global markets today.
The Alpha 428 is fitted with a uniFlowTM 140° symmetrical Waveguide that ensures a uniform horizontal coverage, specifically for the lower mid frequencies. The Lock-n-Stock TM mechanism allows 2 units of the Alpa 428 LA to be locked over the Alpha 425 FS or the Delta 25 4FS for easy storage and quick deployment. The line array is fitted with twin 8” low distortion woofers, with a 2.5” double wound copper voice coil. The woofers are fitted with an aluminium demodulation ring for reduced distortion.
The Alpha 428 LA can be operated in a passive or bi-amplified mode, which can be selected via the relay switch at the back. The systems are recommended to be installed with the Dedicated XD Racks or the X Racks.
The Alpha 428 is great for installed sound at theatres, convention centres, auditoriums, high powered night clubs, house of worship or corporate events. The integrated 4-point rigging system adds a multitude of safety for installations. It also allows for more precise system curving. The arrays can be splayed in 4° intervals between 0° & 12°.

Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
